RevU – Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are issued for subscriptions, premium services, and promotional campaigns on RevU. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.


1. 7-Day Refund Policy

RevU offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible purchases. Here's how it works:

  • Refund Window: You can request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date
  • Eligibility: Refunds are available for first-time subscription purchases and select premium services
  • Usage Limit: The refund policy applies only if you have not excessively used the premium features
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  • One-Time Policy: Each customer is eligible for one refund per service type within a 12-month period

2. Subscription Refunds

Refunds for premium subscriptions are subject to the following conditions:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Full refund available within 7 days of initial purchase. No refunds for renewal charges.
  • Annual Subscriptions: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, prorated refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Renewal Charges: Subscription renewals are non-refundable. Please cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges.
  • Partial Periods: We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods after the 7-day window.

3. Free Trial Refunds

  • Free trials are not subject to refunds as no payment is collected during the trial period
  • If you are charged after a free trial ends, you have 7 days from the charge date to request a refund
  • To receive a refund, you must provide proof that you attempted to cancel before the trial ended
  • Refunds will not be issued if you continued to use premium features after the trial period

4. Promotional Services Refunds

Refund eligibility for promotional services varies based on the service type:

  • Featured Listings: Full refund within 7 days if the listing has not been activated. No refund once activated.
  • Advertisement Campaigns: Full refund within 7 days if the campaign has not gone live. Partial refunds available within 7 days if less than 20% of the campaign budget has been spent.
  • Top Placement: Full refund within 7 days if placement has not been activated. No refund after activation.
  • Sponsored Posts: Full refund within 7 days if the post has not been published. No refund after publication.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Via Email: Send a refund request to revu.rourkela@gmail.com with your order details and reason for refund
  • Via Dashboard: Log in to your RevU account, go to "Account Settings" → "Billing History" → Select the transaction → Click "Request Refund"
  • Via Phone: Call us at +91 81445 62364 during business hours

Information Required: Please include your account email, transaction ID, purchase date, and reason for requesting a refund.

You will receive a response within 2-3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.


6. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Services that have been fully delivered or consumed
  • Custom promotional materials that have been created specifically for your business
  • Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
  • Purchases made more than 7 days ago (unless exceptional circumstances apply)
  • Services purchased using promotional discount codes or special offers
  • One-time setup fees or onboarding charges

7. Refund Processing

  • Review Period: All refund requests are reviewed within 2-3 business days
  • Approval Notification: You will receive an email notification once your refund is approved or denied
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Bank Processing: Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank

8. Conditions for Refund Approval

Refunds will be approved if:

  • The refund request is made within 7 days of purchase
  • You have not violated our Terms & Conditions
  • The service has not been fully consumed or delivered
  • You provide a valid reason for the refund request
  • There is no evidence of fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy

Refunds may be denied if: There is evidence of excessive use, policy abuse, fraudulent activity, or if the request is made outside the 7-day window.


9. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us first to resolve the issue
  • Chargebacks initiated without contacting RevU may result in account suspension
  • We will work with you to resolve any billing concerns before they escalate
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and legal action

10. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional cases, RevU may grant refunds outside the standard 7-day policy. These include:

  • Technical errors that prevented you from using the service
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Service outages or platform downtime exceeding 48 hours
  • Significant changes to service features that were not communicated in advance

These refunds are granted at RevU's sole discretion and require documentation of the issue.


11. Refunds Denied by RevU

RevU reserves the right to deny refund requests in the following cases:

  • Violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Posting fake reviews or misleading business information
  • Abuse of the refund policy (multiple refund requests)
  • Excessive use of premium features before requesting a refund
  • Refund requests made after the 7-day window without exceptional circumstances
  • Services that have been fully delivered or consumed

12. Partial Refunds

  • Partial refunds may be issued for unused portions of annual subscriptions in exceptional cases
  • Partial refunds are calculated based on the unused time remaining and are subject to a processing fee
  • Promotional services may qualify for partial refunds if less than 20% of the service has been consumed
  • All partial refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

13. Changes to Refund Policy

RevU reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The refund policy applicable at the time of purchase will govern refund requests for that transaction.
