RevU – Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel subscriptions, premium services, and promotional campaigns on RevU. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your premium subscription at any time. However, please note the following:
- Immediate Access: When you cancel, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual).
- No Partial Refunds: Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period of your subscription.
- Renewal: Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew automatically. You can resubscribe at any time.
- Data Retention: Your account data and business listings will remain active. Only premium features will be removed after the billing period ends.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription through the following methods:
- Via Dashboard: Log in to your RevU account, go to "Account Settings" → "Subscription" → Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Via Email: Send a cancellation request to revu.rourkela@gmail.com with your account details
- Via Phone: Call us at +91 81445 62364 during business hours
You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation is processed.
3. Free Trial Cancellation
- If you are on a free trial, you may cancel at any time before the trial period ends
- To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expiration date
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription
- No refunds will be issued if you forget to cancel your free trial
4. Promotional Services Cancellation
Cancellation policies for promotional services vary based on the service type:
- Featured Listings: Cannot be cancelled once activated. The listing will remain featured for the purchased duration.
- Advertisement Campaigns: Can be cancelled before the campaign goes live. Once live, the campaign cannot be cancelled, but you may pause it.
- Top Placement: Cannot be cancelled once purchased. The placement will remain active for the agreed period.
- Sponsored Posts: Can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if not yet published. No cancellation allowed after publication.
5. Business Listing Cancellation
- You can cancel or remove your business listing at any time
- To cancel, go to your business dashboard and select "Remove Listing" or contact support
- Once removed, your business will no longer appear in search results
- Reviews and ratings associated with your business will remain on the platform for transparency
- If you have an active paid subscription, cancelling your listing does not entitle you to a refund
6. Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your RevU account:
- Send a deletion request to revu.rourkela@gmail.com
- Your account, including all personal data, will be deleted within 30 days
- Business listings and reviews you posted may remain on the platform for record-keeping purposes
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled, but no refunds will be issued
- Account deletion is irreversible. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use RevU again
7. Automatic Renewal Cancellation
- By default, all subscriptions are set to auto-renew
- To disable auto-renewal, cancel your subscription before the renewal date
- You will receive a reminder email 7 days before your subscription renews
- If you cancel auto-renewal, you can continue using premium features until the end of the current billing cycle
8. Cancellation by RevU
RevU reserves the right to cancel or suspend your subscription or services in the following cases:
- Violation of our Terms & Conditions
- Fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform
- Posting fake reviews or misleading business information
- Non-payment or chargebacks
- Any activity that harms other users or businesses
In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and access to your account may be permanently revoked.
9. Downgrading Your Plan
- If you wish to downgrade from a premium plan to a basic plan, you can do so at any time
- The downgrade will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You will not receive a refund for the difference in plan pricing
- Premium features will be disabled once the downgrade is complete
10. Effect of Cancellation
After you cancel your subscription or services:
- You will lose access to premium features at the end of the billing period
- Your business listing will revert to the free version
- Analytics and insights will be limited to basic metrics
- Featured placement and promotional visibility will be removed
- Your reviews and ratings will remain visible on the platform
11. Reactivation
- You can reactivate your subscription at any time after cancellation
- Previous subscription rates may not apply; current pricing will be charged
- Your account data and listings will be restored
12. Changes to Cancellation Policy
RevU reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
